Bugboy, I use this product made by American Crew called Matte Pliable Styling Cream and it works great. I highly recommend it for the style you´re going for. Last time I got a haircut in the US it was like $70 (tip included), I recommend you go to a place like this.

crew isnt bad it runs about 8-10 for the styling putty. Another good alternative is loreal styling putty with flexible hold, that costs about 4 bucks.
